Contractor Products

Gallon coatings: TransBlue, TransGold, and TransClear.

Gulf Coat's anti-corrosion coatings and cleaning products are the perfect solution for protecting and maintaining equipment that, for some reason, was not factory-coated or does not have the best coating system (pre-treated fins). They are also the best tool for any contractor looking to keep air conditioning or refrigeration equipment protected from corrosion for longer. The product line can be divided into three parts: TransBlue, TransGold, and TransClear.

GulfCoat™ coatings are flexible, water-based, anti-corrosive synthetic polymers specifically designed for the protection of HVAC/R unit components and enclosures. GulfCoat™ is formulated to provide excellent adhesion, moisture resistance, UV resistance, and corrosion resistance.

Application Procedure

  1. The necessary parts are dismantled.
  2. Remove all dirt and/or contamination from the surface using certified products and high-pressure water.
  3. Allow the unit to dry until all traces of moisture are removed.
  4. Proceed to paper and protect the areas not to be coated.
  5. Perform the anticorrosion protection process using compressed air with an HVLP spray gun (using gray primer is recommended for galvanized surfaces).
  6. Once the unit is dry, remove all paper and reassemble.
